bloemen uit Peru/ Flowers from Peru

Deze ketting kan je heel eenvoudig maken. Je neemt ca 200 gram echt Hoooked zpagetti garen en wikkel die om je elleboog. De uiteinden wikkel je om de streng maak een knoopje en steek de uiteinden tussen het omgewikkelde stukje en je voegt een mooie handgemaakte Peruaanse bloem toe.

De opbrengst van de bloem gaat helemaal naar een groep handwerkende vrouwen in Peru. Mijn naamgenoot Marijke Blijderveen heeft daar gewoont en zorgt dat het hele bedrag bij de vrouwen zelf terecht komt. Het zorgt voor een extra brood en een schriftje voor school van haar kinderen.

This necklace is very simple and sweet! you take about 200 gram Hoooked Zpagetti (the most famous t-shirt yarn) and wrap it around your elbow. The loose ends you wrap around the skain and tie a knot. Sew the little ends with a big needle beween the wrapped piece and ad a beautifull handmade Peruvian flower.

The  money for the flowers go's to a group of craft women in Peru. Marijke Blijderveen (yes, also Marijke) used to live there  and takes care that the money goes straight to the group.

It is for the extra slice of bread and mabe a pencil for school.
